History of Grupo Balmaseda
The Bridge to Success ... El Puente Hacia el Exito

HISTORY2Nestled in the mountains of Northern Spain, the village of Balmaseda celebrated its 800th year anniversary recently. The village initiated a global effort to invite everyone with the surname Balmaseda. The celebration lasted for the entire year and thousands participated, including some of my family members. This unique village is proud of its heritage, most especially its 1100 year-old landmark bridge. Lasting over a millennium certainly qualifies it as a bridge to success.

It is with this cultural significance that the brand Grupo Balmaseda was created in 2003. The cultural icon of an enduring bridge to markets and communities clearly defined our company’s mission. We celebrate the depth and stability of Hispanic culture, confident in the emerging power of Latino America. Yes, America is re-shaping its historic character, even as Hispanic values will strengthen the United States into the second largest Spanish-speaking country in the world.

Clearly, a bridge is needed. Our mantra is: We cross the bridge of success together. Together, we will enable the largest and fastest growing segment of minorities in the U. S. to attain a better quality of life and higher standard of living—in a word, success (Exito).HISTORY1
